| Meet Mark N. Brown! |
|
| Born
and raised in Hawaii, local artist Mark N. Brown was encouraged by his
teachers and inspired by his family - his artist uncles, Ray and Irwin
Tam, and "Popo" (grandma in Chinese). Popo always taught him "You can do
anything you want to do in life, be anything you want to be."
Words he has
taken to heart.

Mark's
art is represented at Bibelot, Robyn Buntin Galleries and Hawaii

Mark's love
of the Hawaiian Islands and people is evident in his paintings, a majority
of which are done on site outdoors, in the "Plein Air" mode of the great
Impressionists.
In addition
to painting, Mark runs weekly uninstructed life drawing classes at Chaminade
University of Honolulu. Mark's artwork has evolved to include murals, CD
covers and commissioned paintings of scenic locations and portraits.
